Is this site secure? Is it safe to put my credit card online on your shopping cart?The Order Form pages for Bettyboopstore.com are served through a secure https connection using 128-bit SSL v2/v3 encryption. We encrypt (scramble) credit card information when a shopper enters the credit card number in the web browser, when it is sent to our server, and finally when it is sent from our server to our order processing center.

Our site is hosted by Yahoo, who currently hosts over 15,000 stores. They do not have access to your credit card information, but do use the most state of the art secure methods to transmit your order to us.

According to CNN: "The prevalent opinion...is that on-line credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech" transactions."

Limits on consumer liability. In the United States, most credit cards carry a $50 maximum on your responsibility for fraud, as long as you report it as soon as you discover it. This makes credit card shopping reasonably safe. READ the terms and conditions of YOUR card to be sure of what YOUR liability limit may be. And most credit card companies today will not even hold you responsible for that $50 since they want to keep you as a customer.
